Welder / Light Maintenance

Responsibilities:

• Secure tracking plates onto received carts (placarding).
• Perform a 9-point inspection and preventative maintenance on steel carts.
• Sort carts by style, repair needs, and shipment readiness.
• Use heavy tools to replace small parts, chains, wheels, and arms with new components.
• Perform welding and torch-cutting to repair and reinforce steel carts.
• Power wash repaired carts and ensure they are properly dried.
• Conduct minor repainting based on customer requests.

Skills:

• Welding experience required (certifications preferred).
• Ability to operate heavy tools and perform minor mechanical repairs.
• Experience with inspections, maintenance, and light fabrication is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
