We are seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in assembling, fitting, and repairing tools and parts, with excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
We are seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in assembling, fitting, and repairing tools and parts, with excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Responsibilities for the Toolmaker:
- Assemble, fit, and repair tools and parts
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to assemble parts
- Use machinery such as lathes, presses, milling machines, and grinders
- Use hand tools such as hand grinders, wrenches, rivet guns, and tap handles
- Use precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, gauges, and vernier calipers to check tooling dimensions
- Comply with all quality monitoring and quality checks
- Adhere to established standards, policies, and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, ergonomics, etc.
