Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a mechanic, preferably working with semi-trailers or heavy equipment.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
The Semi-Trailer Mechanic role includes inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing semi-trailers to ensure they are road-ready. Responsibilities may include replacing brakes, repairing suspension systems, welding structural components, addressing electrical issues, and performing routine maintenance. Other duties as assigned.
