We are seeking a hardworking reliable Safety Coordinator to join a locally owned, growing company eager to invest in the right candidate. In this position you will have the opportunity to learn how the critical role of the Safety Coordinator performs to ensure that production at this growing company stays on schedule.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in a Safety Coordinator or similar role.
- Forklift experience is required.
Skills:
- Good communication skills.
- Good understanding of OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to take constructive criticism.
For this position, you will be responsible for doing equipment checks and sign offs, run orientations for new employees, walk the floor to check safety precautions are
being followed, check for chemical spills, assist in audits and reports, ensure former employees are being properly escorted off of property, and assist with disputes, employee arguments, spills, clean ups, and documenting training
.
