2nd 4:00 pm to 4:00 am Monday- Thursday possible Overtime on Fridays and Saturday
Job Summary:
Rework Welder’s are responsible for repairing and reworking metal components to meet quality standards. This role involves utilizing various welding techniques to address defects and ensure the structural integrity of parts used in automotive seating systems.
Key Responsibilities for Rework Welders
- Examine components to identify defects such as cracks, voids, or dimensional inaccuracies
- Utilize welding techniques to repair defects
- Maintain high-quality standards for parts produced
- Record and document rework activities, nature of repairs, outcomes, and scrap
- Adhere to strict safety procedures
Key Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a Production or rework welding environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, stoop, etc. for long periods
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Requires fluent use of English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in Quality inspection/ assurance
- Previous Assembly, Production, Machine Operation experience
- Basic math skills
