Receiving Inspector, up to $22/hr - Roseville, MI

Qualifications
- Must be able to read and interpret materials, such as work orders, inspection manuals, and blueprints to determine inspection and test procedures
- Inspects materials, products, and work in progress for conformance to defined requirements like engineering drawings
- Must be comfortable marking items for acceptance or rejections, and recording test results and inspection data
- Must be able to test and measure finished products
- Must be able to read dials and meters to ensure that equipment is operating properly
Skills
- Must have mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to read blueprints/engineering drawings
- Must have 2 years of on the job experience in mechanical inspection
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
A day in the life at this company for this position consists of showing up and working 6am-2:30pm or 4:30pm if they go to 10 hour shifts, M-F. In this position, you’d be mainly responsible for evaluating documentation, performing lab procedures, inspecting incoming products, measuring process performance, recording data and preparing formal reports.
