Enamel Wire Operator, Fort Wayne, IN - $20/hr
Are you detail-oriented and ready to start your career in manufacturing? This company is seeking an Enamel Wire Operator to join their team and ensure high-quality insulated wire production.
Key Responsibilities:
● Operate machines to apply insulation to wire according to product specifications.
● Load and unload reels, weld wire ends, and prepare materials for machine processing.
● Monitor machine operations, check for quality, and perform reel changes as needed.
● Set up ovens and run wire through machines to ensure proper insulation application.
● Use micrometers to measure wire and maintain accurate logs, labels, and records.
● Place completed reels in designated areas and communicate progress to supervisors and team members.
● Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or GED equivalent.
● Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions and safety guidelines.
● Comfortable using basic tools such as wire cutters, pliers, wrenches, hammers, and micrometers.
● Basic computer skills for entering production data.
● Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks.
