Press Operator - 2nd Shift - $18/hr - Manchester, MI

Responsibilities:
- Utilize control plans, micrometers, calipers, and protractors to inspect raw materials and finished parts for quality.
- Load and unload metal coils through progressive dies, ensuring proper alignment and operation.
- Accurately complete production paperwork, including job cards and tally sheets.
- Operate press machinery while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
- Remove metal scrap from the press area and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow SPC charts and quality procedures to meet production standards.
- Label and box finished parts for shipment.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience in machine operation, preferably in metal stamping or press machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions accurately.
- Physical ability to lift, load, and unload materials throughout the shift.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and safety procedures.
