A Grand Haven manufacturer that specializes in powder coating is seeking a Powder coater to join their 1st Shift team. Hours are 7:00am-3:30pm (Monday-Friday.) Overtime may be required. Working as part of a team to assist in loading parts onto a paint line, painting parts, unloading parts off of a hang line, and preparing parts for shipment. This is a full-time temporary to permanent position.
Qualifications:

Previous powder coating experience required

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively is required

Ability to read and interpret a variety of written procedures, part numbers, and operational instruction sheets

Ability to pay attention to detail

Ability to work well in a team environment
Skills:
-
Will be ensuring parts are hung correctly on the powder coat paint line

Responsible for inspecting parts for paint and quality defects
-
Will take parts off of the hang line and package them into bins or crates

Responsible for preparing parts for shipment

Follow operational and safety procedures set forth
