Plastics Inspector

Responsibilities:
- Inspection: Examine plastic parts for defects, inconsistencies, and compliance with specifications.
- Measurement: Use precision measuring tools and gauges to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
- Documentation: Record inspection results and communicate findings to the production team.
- Process Monitoring: Ensure adherence to quality control processes during manufacturing.
- Communication: Work closely with team members to address quality issues and improve processes.
- Tool Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment as needed.
- Final Approval: Approve finished products before shipment to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in quality control or inspection, preferably in plastics manufacturing.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Familiarity with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
