Material Planner

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain material plans aligned with production schedules and sales forecasts.
• Analyze production requirements to determine material and service needs.
• Create, issue, and manage purchase orders for timely procurement.
• Collaborate with suppliers to establish delivery schedules and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor inventory levels to balance production needs and minimize excess stock.
• Enhance inventory visibility and accuracy through collaboration and floor assessments.
• Conduct inventory reviews to align procurement with current and future production.
• Analyze material usage trends to inform purchasing decisions.
• Generate reports on order status, supplier performance, and material availability.
• Identify and implement process improvements for planning and supplier management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or a related field.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management or a similar discipline is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in planning, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Excel and ERP systems.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for supplier and team collaboration.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management principles.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a dynamic environment.
