Material Handler
- 1st shift - $17/hr - Dexter, MI

Qualifications:
- Moves finished goods and materials from each production line to the warehouse.
- Replenishes shelves with materials for the parcel shipping clerk.
- Stages and loads customer orders.
- Unloads incoming raw materials using a forklift, and/or hand stacks product on pallets.
- Verifies count and receives materials.
- Transports materials to the raw goods supermarkets near each assembly line.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Forklift experience is required.
- Must be able to operate a forklift truck and meet the requirements for vehicle operators.
- Able to become familiar with part numbers and their use and be able to visually identify them.
- Familiarity with kanBan or maintenance of full inventory systems.
- Familiarity / experience with scanning and/or data entry is highly preferred.
- Able to follow written instruction
- Able to meet attendance standards established by the organization
- Must possess good organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Able to walk and stand continuously.
- Able to lift 15 to 50 pounds repeatedly during regular work assignments
The primary duty of the Material Handler is to ship and receive outgoing and incoming materials and supplies. Verifies, counts, and prepares shipping and receiving materials and supplies to and from manufacturing departments. Responsible for staging orders for shipment which includes use of computer for Fed Ex, UPS, and other carriers, as necessary.
