Job Summary
Workbox Staffing is looking for experienced Maintenance Technicians! The Maintenance Technician role is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication, adjustments, and part replacements.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts used.
- Report any significant equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing tasks that require manual dexterity.
Key Qualifications for the Maintenance Technician
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ year experience in a previous manufacturing or industrial maintenance role
- Able to lift up to 70 pounds and maintain physical stamina throughout an entire shift
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Preferred Qualifications for the Maintenance Technician
- Previous welding/ fabrication experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
