Job Summary
Workbox Staffing is
seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift/ Hilo Driver to join our team in Grand Rapids. As a Forklift/Hilo driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move materials and products throughout the facility, while maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to move materials and products throughout the facility
- Load and unload materials and products from trailers, containers, and storage areas
- Transport materials and products to and from production areas, warehouses, and shipping/receiving areas
- Maintain accurate records of materials moved and inventory levels
- Perform daily safety checks on the forklift and report any issues or concerns to management
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and objectives
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Key Qualifications
- 2+ years experience safely operating a forklift or hilo
- Knowledge of basic machine care, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Past experience in production based material handling
- Physical stamina to lift up to 40 lbs
- Basic math skills
- Reliable transportation
Preferred Skills
- 1+ year experience with Shipping and Receiving
- 1+ year experience with Data Entry
- Lean manufacturing knowledge
