Furnace Operator - 3rd Shift - Up to $22/hr - Plymouth, MI
Are you comfortable working in a hot environment? Join our team as a Heat Treat Operator and be an integral part of our production process.
Responsibilities:
- Select products according to the daily process furnace schedule for the assigned furnace line.
- Review selected products for quantity, weight, and any damage, defects, or suspect materials.
- Rack scheduled materials, parts, or products from customer containers onto fixtures or into baskets to start the heat treat process per work instructions.
- Unload materials, parts, or products from fixtures and baskets after the heat treat process and replace them into proper containers per work instructions.
- Maintain production rates and ensure production quality meets or exceeds customer standards.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Must be comfortable working in a hot work environment.
- Ability to follow work instructions and maintain production quality standards.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on ensuring product integrity and quality.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as racking and unloading materials.
- Strong adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
