Foundry Laborer, $17.50/hour - Benton Harbor

Qualifications:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple priorities
- Effectively communicates with supervisor and support personnel
- Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects up to 55 pounds regularly
- Ability to read, write, perform basic math calculations, and complete visual inspections
Skills:
- Participate in safe operations of Furnace Department practices and uphold housekeeping standards
- Maintain proper metal properties and metal levels in metal and holding furnaces
- Keep Crucibles full at casting machines to assure no interruptions to production
- Perform other duties as assigned in the ultimate support of manufacturing and company goals
In this role the Foundry Laborer is responsible for the proper startup, shutdown, cleaning, and maintenance of the reverb furnace. This is a full time position working a rotating 12 hour shift from 7:00am-7:00pm. This position comes with the ability to be hired in after your time with Workbox Staffing!
