1 st 6:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday - Thursday; Overtime possible on Fridays
Job Summary
In this role, candidates will assist with the basic fabrication of plastic and acrylic materials. Along with the fabrication process, candidates will be packaging and loading finished products onto pallets by hand. You will also be responsible for maintaining outdoor property - mowing, weeding, basic landscape maintenance. If you are familiar with general shop tools, have a strong work ethic, and have experience in assembly/warehouse, this position is great for you.
Responsibilities
- Preparing plastic materials using basic fabrication processes
- Identifying and utilizing knowledge of the plastic materials used in the fabrication process (ABS, acrylic, HDPE, nylon, PETG, polycarbonate, PVC, and UHMW)
- Setting up, running, monitoring, and adjusting fabrication machinery
- Performing quality inspections on all parts to ensure they meet customer specifications
- Reading and understanding technical drawings and blueprints
- Packaging and palletizing the finished product
- Maintaining a clean workspace inside and outside the facility
- Assisting with facilities maintenance and upkeep
Key Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of previous flatbed or laser CNC experience
- 1+ years experience working with wood and plastic fabrication machinery (routers, saws, etc.)
- Ability to lift 35-50 lbs consistently and maintain physical stamina throughout a 9-hour shift
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure to the 1/16” decimal or fraction
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to multitask and perform a variety of different assigned tasks
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Speak English as a primary or secondary language
- At least 6 months of warehouse experience
