Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in machining or
related field preferred. - Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming, machining techniques, and tooling.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols for operating machinery.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications, blueprints, and job
routers. - Load raw materials into the machine and secure them properly.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adjust machine settings as needed.
- Interpret CNC programs and make necessary adjustments to optimize production.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making any necessary adjustments.
- Troubleshoot issues with machines and perform minor repairs as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines.
- Document production activities and maintain records of machine settings and
adjustments.
CNC Operator will set up, operate, and maintain our computer numerical control (CNC) machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC programming, machining techniques, and a commitment to producing quality products within specified deadlines. The CNC Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.
