Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, set up, and program CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and grinders, to produce parts that meet detailed specifications and tight tolerances.
- Interpret and execute complex technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files with precision.
- Develop and optimize CNC programs to improve production efficiency and reduce cycle times.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of machinery, addressing technical issues quickly and effectively to minimize downtime.
- Conduct in-depth inspections of finished components using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs, ensuring all products meet stringent quality standards.
- Lead efforts to maintain and improve production workflows, recommending enhancements to equipment, tooling, and processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production processes, quality checks, and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience ( 3 + years preferred) as a CNC Operator in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Advanced proficiency in CNC programming, including G-code and CAD/CAM software.
- In-depth knowledge of machining processes, materials, and tooling for a variety of applications.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality work within tight tolerances and complex specifications.
- Familiarity with industry-specific quality assurance standards and inspection techniques.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
