Position: Branch Manager (Full Time)
 
We’re searching for a Branch Manager to lead our Holland, Michigan branch. This hands-on role requires the ability to balance team development, management, strategic decision-making, and client development in the region. While you'll engage in various aspects of the business, your primary focus will be building a strong team and fostering long-term client relationships. You'll guide your team, oversee operations, and collaborate with teams nationwide to achieve our strategic goals.
 
Location:   Holland, MI & Benton Harbor, MI 
 
Responsibilities:
 
Branch Operations:
  1. Ensure compliance with all onboarding documentation, including I-9s, E-Verify cases, background checks, and accurate assignment records (start/end dates, communication logs, etc.).
  2. Oversee job postings across required platforms and provide strategic guidance on posting strategies.
  3. Support payroll processes to ensure seamless client and worker experiences.
  4. Assist the recruiting team with sourcing, interviewing, and placing candidates as needed.
  5. Facilitate workers' compensation processes, acting as a communication bridge between internal and external teams.
  6. Drive branch performance by managing revenue, meeting budget targets, and achieving sales goals.
Team Development
  1. Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching and development for the team.
  2. Set strategic direction and provide guidance to achieve company goals.
  3. Foster collaboration across departments and locations.
  4. Identify development opportunities for team members and promote a culture of continuous learning.
Business and Client Development
  1. Take ownership of your market—develop and execute a strategic plan to manage the branch territory effectively.
  2. Identify, prospect, and engage potential clients to expand business opportunities.
  3. Stay informed on local market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  4. Build relationships within the community and effectively communicate our services and value propositions.
  5. Maintain a client-focused approach—delivering solutions that drive success for our partners.
  6. Think creatively and critically to identify unique opportunities for new and existing clients.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  2. At least two years of staffing, management, or recruiting experience is preferred.
  3. Understands the staffing industry and has the ability to build strong relationships with clients and candidates.
  4. Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive in problem-solving.
  5. Ability to assess client job requirements and match candidates effectively.
  6. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor internal staff. 
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  8. Flexible availability, including occasional early mornings or late evenings, as needed.
  9. Proficiency in staffing software, CRM tools, or applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred.
  10. Must have a valid drivers license. 
  11. Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
