You will
b
e Leading a team of Operators as well as assisting around the plant on a variety of machines to meet production.
You will be required to perform machine operator duties per production demands. Lastly, you MUST BE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EXPERIENCED as
a
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic and Automation Robotics Technician diagnosing, repairing and
maintain
the manufacturing equipment of your line.
Responsibilities
:
- Application of Quality to a product or service in a systematic approach.
- Conduct on-site electrical, mechanical, structural and electronic troubleshooting to determine the cause for equipment malfunction and establish the necessary repairs using visual inspection, test procedures and appropriate test equipment. Perform a general post repair audit before completion of work, documenting that all required safety features are functional or documenting deficiencies
- Assist in working on machines when required to meet production goals . Ability to read and understand work instructions, manuals, and schematics.
- Must be able to problem-solve, mechanical, low voltage electrical, robotics, and PLC from an HMI (human interface panel).
- Robots are Fanuc, PLC’s are Allen Bradley
- Ability to manage time to a schedule and accountable for reporting per job.
- Ability to properly maintain and perform basic troubleshooting on equipment
- Participate in the development and review of project documentation.
- Direction and support for procurement activities.
- E xperience repairing Automation Robotic , electrical control circuits, equipment modifications such as retrofits, replacing motors and gears, and replacing hydraulic brakes with electric. You should also be proficient in reading electrical schematics and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment independently. Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Application of testing and inspection activities to a system or service.
- Assessment of systems to identify deficiencies and participate in resolution of issues found .
- Maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
- Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
- Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventative maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
- Installs equipment with the assistance of machine manufacturers or other resources.
- Rebuilds equipment as required.
- Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
- Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Will be responsible for ensuring the machine is operating properly and preventative maintenance protocols are followed.
- Training on-site will be provided but a basic understanding of an automotive assembly line, troubleshooting, and problem-solving is the minimum requirement.
- Ability to lead and support a team of Machine Operators
- Excellent Written and Oral communication skills
Qualifications
:
- a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field Preferred but Not Required
- 3 Years of manufacturing experience
- Experience with automotive automation robotic machinery.
- Experience working with yellow robots
- Must be responsible and dependable
