1st Shift Assembler - $17.00/hr – Fort Wayne
Do you want to work for a company that has over 60 years of expertise in their industry? First shift 7:30 am-4:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and complete basic work orders by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists.
- Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
- Examine parts for correct fit
- Perform quality checks to verify product integrity
- Complete Production and quality forms
- Keep work area and warehouse area clean while complying with health, safety, and environmental policies
Qualifications:
- Customer-first work ethic
- Personable and professional attitude Problem-solving
- Problem solving abilities
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to regularly lift/move and carry up to 70 pounds
- Must be able to stand and or walk for extended periods of time
- Must have manual dexterity and coordination to operate hand tools and mechanical tools such as a wrench.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace. Must be able to tolerate changing priorities, and complete assignments despite frequent interruptions.
- Must have the ability to operate a forklift after being certified.
