Job Summary:
Work with a l
eading global supplier of automotive seating and electrical systems. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Line Associate to join our team. Candidates will be assisting in the production and assembly of our products utilizing assembly machinery, robotics welders, and machine presses.
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly tasks on the production line, including installing components, connecting electrical systems, and testing products
- Utilize and operate robotic welding equipment and assembly machinery
- Inspect products for quality and defects, and perform rework as necessary
- Package and prepare products for shipping
- Collaborate with other production team members to achieve efficient and safe production operations
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and safety
- Meet production standards for quality, efficiency, and safety
Key Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand, bend, stoop, etc. for long periods
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Requires fluent use of English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in Quality inspection/ assurance
- Previous Assembly, Production, Machine Operation experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills
